Coffee Without the Jitters, and Other Enhancements

Recently I discovered Ben Greenfield and he seems to have a wealth of knowledge on body hacking. I saw a video of his where he mentioned a way to avoid getting jittery on high amounts of caffeine, and that was something I found really interesting. Here’s a transcript where he mentions it.

The solution is taking L-theanine, ideally in a 2:1 ratio with your caffeine.

In the process of looking for that transcript, I found this blog post that also recommends adding some Alpha GPC to the mix, which is a potent acetylcholine precursor. Choline is a good all-around brain food, and there are some decent dietary sources, but Alpha GPC is far more effective. Dosage info: probably start out with 400mg.
